The weekly Herceptin is going pretty well, but I am tired! Joan
(the nurse at my oncologist's office) told me that people can be tired
as a result of radiation for up to six months--I was not happy to hear
that!!!
I am researching tests I can take to measure whether I am having a
recurrence. I am not thrilled with the thought of continuing the
Herceptin forever, so I want to try to find a way to stop taking it for
awhile. I think I will need it for 12 months though--that seems
to be the standard in the BC world in cases like mine. I hope to go to
every three weeks instead of every week.
I have gotten lots of positive feedback about the BC story I
wrote. And I finally got over the fact that they messed up my
name :-)
